Welcome to Team Blue Collar

Blue Collar Angling was founded in 2021 by my late husband, Galo, whose passion for fishing started at a very young age.

What began as a simple question during one of our favorite fishing trips — “Hey babe, do you think if I posted a video, a few people might like it?” — quickly grew into something so much bigger than either of us could have imagined.

From that very first TikTok post, Galo’s genuine love for fishing and his unmatched personality connected with people everywhere. His excitement for the sport was contagious, and what he loved most was giving others the opportunity to experience that same feeling. Whether it was sharing tips, teaching new techniques, or simply celebrating a great catch, Galo’s mission was always to inspire and help fellow anglers.

He had a special place in his heart for the next generation of anglers, always taking time to chat, answer questions, and encourage young people who shared his passion for fishing.

To Galo, he was just a guy who loved to fish, but to everyone else, he was so much more — a mentor, a friend, and a leader in the fishing community. His drive and determination led to the creation of Blue Collar Outfitters, his fishing charter service, and Blue Collar Baits, our bait and apparel brand built to serve anglers everywhere.

Carrying on the Dream

After Galo’s passing in November 2024, I wasn’t sure how to move forward. The Blue Collar brand was Galo’s dream, his vision, and his heart.

But through the overwhelming love and support from this incredible community, Team Blue Collar was born. Today, I’m proud to continue his mission — creating quality baits and apparel while carrying forward the sense of community that Galo built from the very beginning.

Every product we offer is inspired by Galo’s passion for fishing and his belief that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the sport and look good doing it. Whether you’re casting from the shore, paddling out in a kayak, or competing in a tournament, Blue Collar Baits and apparel are designed for anglers, by anglers.
